Role: Manages our client payroll bureau and H.R. advisory service.

Ensures that client payroll remains fully compliant with Revenue PAYE Modernisation requirements and in line with the ever-changing employment law legislation.

Robust compliance on behalf of employers ensures that employee payroll and H.R. queries are kept to a minimum.

Role: Our in-house taxation service brings an extra level of service to clients and hugely strengthens our range of services. A gap most small/medium sized accountants have within their practice. Responsible for preparing all tax planning for business and individuals… minimising taxes payable. See our taxation section for full details.

Clients Services Manager

Bachelor of Business & Accounting, Sligo. Currently working towards CIMA Accountant qualification.

Joined Horizon in September 2015

Role: Ensuring all clients work is scheduled and completed to meet revenue deadlines. Oversees the bookkeeping bureau, Outsourcing and Financial Management Teams.

Prepares Management accounts, year-end accounts and reports. Part of the team who deliver job costing reports to clients.

Bureau Manager

Bachelor of Accounting, Galway. Currently working towards CPA Accountant qualification.

Joined Horizon in April 2018.

Role: Senior member of our bureau team who manages client’s paperwork and ensures records are maintained and processed accurately in a timely manner. Completes financial management for client’s cash, sales and purchase ledgers. Also responsible for VAT returns for clients.

Ray also supports year end preparation.

Association Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Joined Horizon in May 2014.

Role: Working in delivering accounts that fulfil the accounting standards for our SME clients. Responsible for production and issue of final year end documents and tax returns for clients, as well as CRO submissions to the all-important deadlines to ensure compliance.

Joined Horizon in May 2019.

Role: The newest member of our team who joined us due to the increase in our client base over the last 12 months. Manages client’s paperwork, sales and purchase ledgers plus bank accounts. Completes bookkeeping and Vat returns.

Role: A key background role which supports the entire team. Managing our CRM and planning database, all clients’ correspondence and files. Newer role to manage the marketing aspect of the business with a creative flair. Oh! Most likely the first voice you will hear when you call us.

Joined Horizon in November 2017.

Role: Total responsibility for the finances of the business including Cash flow, monthly management accounts, project margins etc.… all in all Mary keep us all on our toes !
